Equipments

FORSEV is divided in two Sections: FORGING SECTION AND MACHINING SECTION.

The Forging Department is characterized through power and performance; there are manufactured any kind of forging parts or die forging from all qualities of steel or aluminium (alloyed aluminium), at any standards or usual.Here can be found equipments necessary for cutting the raw material, and we can mention:

• 2 Metal cutting band – saw L = 3950mm
• 1 Metal cutting band - saw L = 4450 mm
• 1 Cutting power press 1600 to.

Forging Section has production equipment as it follows:

• 2.5tf, 10tf, 25tf, 40tf Die Hammers,
• 0,4t, 2t, 3t, 5t Free Forging Hammers,
• 250tf, 1000tf Power Press,
• 1600tf Hydraulic Press,
• Heating Furnaces for each Forging equipment,
• Furnaces for Primary and Secondary Heat Treatment with water and oil quenching,
• Forge manipulators and gantry cranes,
• 2 shoot blasting stations,
• 1 sandblasting station.

Machining Department. In the Machining Department there are an important number of large capacity machines arranged by product line. This manufacturing unit provides machining for a wide variety of parts in all shapes and sizes, both for external and internal needs.The production equipment of this division is as follows:

• Vertical Lathes,
• Turning Lathes,
• Milling and Planning Machines,
• Radial Drilling Machines,
• Acetylene Cutting Machines,
• Templet Milling Machines after model,
• Copying Machines,
• Welding Equipment.

FORSEV owns also the entire range of equipments necessary for inspection, checking, testing the products that it produce. As a guarantee of the quality of its products, FORSEV effects a large range of testing in its laboratories with equipment that we mention below:

Mechanical Testing:

• Universal testing machines, (tensile test, compression test, Cross breaking test at ambient temperature (20oC))
• Charpy Hammer – notched – bar impact test (at law and ambient temperature)
• Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell Hardness

Metallography

• Metallography microscopes with weigh from 100x to 1000x
• Equipments for preparing, treating and attack of the metallography's samples.

Chemical analysis

• Device for determination C + S,
• Spectrophotometer for Cr, Ni, Mo determination
• Analytical and electronics balance

Non-destructive control (UT, MT, PL)

• Ultrasonic flow detector and all accessory and necessary samples
• Magnetic yoke and ultraviolet lamps for magnetically powders control.
